A huge rock wall. There is equipment but no one is around to supervise so most of the time kids get cocky and try to climb it by themselves. This is where most injuries occur.

Ana continued up the wall without a harness in. She didn't really know how to put one in and wasn't about to waist time trying to put one on. It wouldn't hurt too bad if she fell anyways, which was really unlikely for a girl like her. Just arriving at camp, she didn't even want to look at who her roommate was, she personally didn't want to feel settled in, not for a long time. Her brother might, but she sure wasn't any time soon. This seemed like something fun to get her mind of things, so Anastasia had gone for it, planning on reaching the top.
Cliffton stopped by the climbing wall on his way to the lake and just wanted to see that there were no dead bodies lying at the base of it. Seeing some girl climbing up the wall he called up to her, "Hey! Be careful up there! You fall from that height and we'll be scraping you up off the ground!" he shouted up, semi serious as he shook his head and frowned. Why were all the damned campers so reckless and uncaring with their lives? We have equipment for a reason....
Her ears perking up when there was a male voice below her, Ana wasn't about to risk looking down, but instead pushed all the way until she reached the top. Pulling herself up, she rang the bell loud and clear for the guy to hear and let her bare feet dangle off of the edge. Her shoes and bag were lying near where all the equipment was sitting. Smirking, Anastasia waved down at him and called loud enough for him to hear, "I don't think you should tell that to all you're campers, you might scare them away."
Cliffton laughed and rolled his eyes, "Oh c'mon that's a great idea!" he called up to her and shrugged. Hey if he told Campers and they got scared well then that just made his job that much easier. Then he wouldn't have to clean up campers off the ground. Shrugging he put his hand over his eyes and looked up at the girl. Hmmm she looks familiar somehow....Oh! She's that Anastaisa Jay person....the werewolf? oh well....
AJ raised an eyebrow, but continued to swing her legs back and fourth, the little voice in the back of her mind asking her how exactly she planned on getting down. "Yea, wonderful idea. Really feeling at ease up here." Ana replied, brushing some of her blonde hair out of her face. Scruching her eyebrows, she hadn't even seen her brother for a couple of hours, "Who are you anyway?"
Cliffton rolled his eyes and called back up to her, "Why don't you come down here and we can have a real conversation?" he asked her as he shouted up to her and waited for her answer. Mostly he just didn't want to go hoarse from calling up to her and then he smiled and peeled off his shirt. Unfurling his wings he flew up and landed next to her. His wings folded up again and he raised a brow, "Or this works too." he said simply and then offered her his hand and smiled at her, "I'm Cliff your Counselor."
Looking at the ground far below, Ana shook her head, "If I tried jumping, that wouldn't..." AJ stopped when he took off his shirt and her eyes widened a bit when he landed next to her...with wings! She might be a werewolf, but that didn't mean she was even close to being use to it, let alone seeing shirtless men fly. Looking down at his extended hand, Anastasia took it hesitantly as if he would bite, but did anyway. "Cliff...nice to meet you. Quick question, how did you do that?" she asked curiously, trying to hide the excitement in her voice, after letting his hand go. It's not every day you saw someone fly.
[lol that was a funny post]Cliffton smiled and laughed at her reaction, her eyes had widened and he shrugged. "I'm a Faerie. It's what we do." He said and unfurled his wings again. The light green iridesent wings fluttered and there were swirling patterns in them. "You can touch them if you want." he said and smiled at her, he was used to people getting awestruck when they first saw Fey wings. "They won't break. Promise you." he said and smiled at her, she was cute. Her blonde hair was that lovely natural color that people often tried to get but somehow could never achieve.
Athena walked passed the climbing wall and smiled. She was wearing this shirt: http://i.ebayimg.com/t/KARANINA-Silve... with these pants: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_B6J6nGs6VwA... and this trench cost over it with the buttons open so you could see her outfit under neath http://s9.thisnext.com/media/largest_... and these shoes: http://www.burberrysuits.com/images/B... she took off the coat and unfurled her wings: http://witchnextdoor.files.wordpress.... Athena flew up to the top and landed. "Hello" she said " Hopd I didn't spoil the party"
((agreed :P))She gazed at them a moment, like a kid who had just seen a magic trick and completely believed it to be real. A flicker of doubt ran across her eyes, but AJ rose her hand anyway until one of her fingers was lightly touching it. "Yep, definitely not fake." Anastasia said a bit softer, a voice most people used when touching soft things. Putting her hands back in her lap, she looked down at the ground again. "So, Cliff the Faerie, what exactly does it mean to be my counselor?" AJ asked, glancing over at his wings often, still absorbing the fact that they were real, just like the fur she magically grew once a month.
[haley can you please not post so many links, just describe her outfit instead]Cliff rolled his eyes, "Don't call me Cliff the Faerie and it means that it's up to me to get you to control your powers." He said and smiled at her, "You are Anastasia Jay right?" he asked, having no idea that she liked to be called AJ. Every so often his wings would flutter and he looked over at Athena, "Hello Athena." he said and smiled at her, "How are you?" he asked her kindly, making small talk with her.
"Control my powers...good to know." she stood up straight when someone else landed on the wall...with wings again! Geez, does everyone just fly everywhere? she thought, having no idea that not everyone had wings. When the other girl came, she went quiet and gave a little wave, then looked at the ground again. "Well, best be going now. Looks like you have a friend to talk to." AJ said while turning around and gripping the hand-holds, making her way down the wall, very slowly. Going up might be easy, but going down was a completely different story.
Cliff looked down and watched Anastasia carefully, after all if she fell he would have to catch her. Even if he didn't usually save people he didn't really feel like cleaning up her guts off the ground and he waited for Athena to answer him as he watched the werewolf girl slowly descend.
(( yeah I won't do that again. Sorry"))" Okay I guess" she said. " Cliff I err, I accidentally coveted the floor of my side of the room in snow" she said quickly. " I got mad and couldn't help it"
[it's all good :) and at least 3 lines]Cliff laughed and shrugged, "Do you want to keep it? If not I'll stop by later and melt it for you." he offered kindly and looked down at Anastasia. Seeing her touch the ground by now he looked over at Athena and raised a brow, "So what made you come to the wall? Usually Fey don't really go to the wall because of you know, being able to fly."
Grabbing her stuff, she looked up at the two teenagers up there with wings talking to each other. You didn't see that every day. Slinging her bag over her shoulder, AJ waved up at them, then headed towards the direction Cliff had come from, figuring he had just come from the cabins. Hopefully she wouldn't get lost.
" I just wanted to talk with somebody all the people seem to be at the lake. And you know I can't swim so I obviously can't go there. And yeah I'd kind of like to keep it. I do specialize in winter after all" she smiled and laughed. Athena leaned back wards off the top and did a couple of loops and turns. She stopped and lay back on the air her wings beating to keep her aurborne. She grinned and patted the air. " Come join me it's quite comfortable"
Cliff chuckled and shrugged, "I'd rather not. I don't like to strain my wings." he laughed and sat on the top of the climbing rock. It was easy for him to just sit there and he folded his wings across his back. He was used to walking around with them hidden rather than just out in the open and he smiled slightly, "And you can swim, you just won't be able to fly afterwards."
" No I'm serious. I really don't know how to!" she said surprised Cliffton hadn't known that. " You make a good point though on not straining your wings. She sat back down on the top and folded them against her back. She smiled and lpoked out over the camp. She didn't mind heights. That would be an interesting faerie she thought. A faerie afraid of heights. It would be like a fish afraid of water.
Cliffton raised a brow, "You don't know how to swim? What if you get a wing cramp while flying over the atlantic or something? You plan to just drown?" he asked her increduously and made a mental note to find one of the more water gifted campers to teach her how to swim. He would but he didn't teach swimming, it was alot harder than it seemed and he just didn't have the talent for it.
" I dont know!" she said panicked. The very though brought all sorts of horrible possibilities to mind. What if she fell out of a boat? What if she landed in the ocean. Athena shuddered. The possibilities were endless. " I really can't she said" By this time snow had began to form around her and little ice particles danced around. Her Powers got out of control when she was upset. " Blasted powers" she muttered
Cliffton laughed, "Are you that worried about not being able to swim?" he asked gesturing to her powers and then shaking his head. "Why don't you just ask one of the other counselors to teach you?" he asked her curiously and then before she could ask him he continued, "I can swim, true. But I can't teach. I tried and failed."
Skipper wandered in while wearing her cow slippers and her ipod plugged in. She looked around confused for she had no clue where she had just wandered. Skipper frowned slightly before biting her lip and pulling her head phones out. She saw Cliff and blushed, she had made such a fool of herself in the room, he would surely make fun of her now. Skipper ran a hand through her sandy blonde hair and tried to make herself look invisible--it wasn't really working though since she was hiding behind her hands like an adorable toddler who thought he could disappear in peak a boo. I wish there were cows around here... she thought to herself with a groan.
" Good idea " she said. She stood up and unfurled her wings stretching them out. " I'm going to go find a counselor" she said. " Thanks Cliff " she leaped off the edge of the climbing wall and glided down. She waved up to him as she reached the ground. She folded her wings against her back and put the trench coat over it. " Bye " she yelled before walking off.
Cliff waved and then he stretched out his wings and flew down to the ground. Landing he tucked his wings into his back and pulled on his shirt that had been laying discarded in a little heap on the ground. Stretching he looked around and seeing Skipper he walked over and stood in front of her. "Jee I wonder where Skip is....huh...I just can't seem to find her." he said as if he was playing peek a boo with a toddler. He smiled down at her and waited for her to peek out from her hands.
Skipper blushed a deep red and peaked one of her hazel eyes out from between two small fingers "oh, um, hi" she said while biting her lip adorably and shifting on her cow slippers "I wandered off and got lost and I promise I wasn't following you cause that would just be stalkerish!" she said starting to babble again as blush creeped onto her cheeks, It was obvious that she was adorable and kid like. At her home school guys had tried and tried to get her but Skipper had never understood what they were trying to do. Skipper slowly lowered her hands in embarrassment.
Cliffton laughed at her shy awkward behavior and shook his head. "Skip, I never would have thought that you were stalking me." he said and shrugged before raising a brow, "So where were you trying to get to that you got lost?" he asked her curiously and smiled, "I can help get you where you want to go."
Skipper shrugged "I was just walking, I didn't want to be in that blasted room anymore." she shuttered and shook her head with a sigh. "You have no clue what it was like." Skipper bit her lip and looked up at him. "Is it okay if I sleep outside in the forest tonight?" she asked, not understanding how stupid and idiotic her request really sounded. She could get hurt, or killed. Hell it was just stupid.
Cliffton scoffed, "No. You have to sleep in your room or at least in the hallway. Think of your room as your first challenge to controlling your powers. Block out whatever spookies are in it." he said simply and then raised a brow at her, "Why what is wrong with your room anyway? We decorated it to your style and appeal why don't you like it?" he asked her frowning a bit.
Skipper bit her lip "Because I can feel the soul of the last girl in that room." A tear or two ran down her face. "She....she was so scared and there was so much pain." Skipper touched the back of her head as if she could feel the blow that the last girl suffered. "She's gone now...dead...I can feel that." Skipper winced and shook her head while messing with her hands. "Is there any cows near by?" She asked a bit hopefully.
Cliff blinked, "Dead now? Hmmm odd." he said and shrugged his shoulders as if it was no big deal. "And no cows." he said simply and raised a brow at Halie. "You're sort of weird, you know that?" he asked her and smiled to show her he ment it in the least offensive way possible.
Skipper bit her lip and nodded "Yes, yes I know." she whispered before shaking her head and offering up a smile. "That's depressing....you should work on that...cow's are good company." she said softly before biting her lip in thought. "What are you?" She asked quietly. "I saw the wings, I don't have wings. Why?" She asked curiously, not trying to be rude--but just trying to actually know something.
Cliffton laughed, "You're a human. A gifted one, unlike most humans you use about 70 percent of your brain which gives you your ability. I'm a Faerie." he shrugged and smiled at her and the sunlight around them increased, "A summer fey." he said and then it faded and he laughed a bit. "And cows are messy and in the summer you can smell their poop for miles. We don't have room in the camp for cows."
Skipper shook her head absently. "Not really, I mean I grew up on a farm and the smell really isn't that bad." She shrugged before blushing slightly and running a hand through her blonde hair. "Um, am I supposed to tell you that I feel dizzy right now?" She asked curiously for she was in deed pretty dizzy. "I mean you are my counselor right? Am I supposed to tell you that stuff?"
Cliffton shrugged, "Well I'm more for power control. You should go to the nurses for issues like dizzy." he laughed and then he raised a brow, "Let me guess....you don't know where the nurses are?" he asked her wondering if he should just carry her there now or try and let her walk there with his directions. The first choice seemed safer but it would also waste more time.
Skipper bit her lip and blushed "alright, never mind then. I don't need to go." she said quietly, truth was that she was terrified of doctors. Skipper would avoid them at all costs if she could. "A rock wall huh?" she asked while going over to it and starting to climb up it despite the fact she was dizzy.
Cliffton frowned and walked over and picked up Skipper. Tossing her over his shoulder he whistled as he started to walk towards the infirmary. "Don't fight me Skip. I'll sedate you." he warned and then continued to whistle. "Your well being is a concern of mine but it's not my job. Not neccisarily."
Skipper's eyes widened and she shook her head "Oh no! Please! I really don't want to go! I just need to eat some food and I'll be okay!" Skipper said, trying to get him to put her down. "Please, I'm okay!" Skipper shook her head. She hated medical stuff, she hated stethoscopes even more.
Cliffton ignored her words and kept walking. He was used to dealing with people that struggled against him and having to drag people off to see the nurse. It was starting to become a habit of his campers and he was really getting a little peeved about why he always got the people scared of doctors.
[um....so does she get Cliff or Ethan....]Skipper started panicking and jerked out of his hold so that she pushed off his shoulder and fell to the ground. Skipper rubbed her head and shook her head "Ouch." she muttered quietly while rubbing her caboose. "You'd be surprised how much that hurt...."
[playing it by year Kels :) ]Cliffton stopped and turned towards her, "Then why did you do it? You'll need to get used to the nurses. You have to meet with them weekly for check ups since you have a medical issue." He said and raised a brow at her as he looked down at her, "What's the deal with the doctor fear anyway?" he asked her curiously, guessing that that was what she was afraid of.
[right....sorry...you have no clue how bad of a day its been....]Skipper shook her head "my last doctor liked touching me in places they didn't need to touch me in." she whispered before shaking her head. "Why weekly check ups? I would really rather not do that." Skipper said while batting her eyelashes and adding in another sweet smile in hopes of getting out of the whole doctor/nurse thing.
[i'm sorry :( ]Cliffton rolled his eyes, "Well all the nurses here are females. As are all the cooks and the shop keepers and everyone else. We only hire female workers so there's no need to be scared." he said simply and then raised a brow, "Or are you worried you'll fail the check ups?" he asked her seriously.
[Right now I really just hate myself and I can't stop crying.]Skipper bit her lip as soon as he mentioned the failing part. "I'm okay." She whispered to him quietly as if trying to convince him that it was true. I am okay....I always have been..." Skipper shook her head slowly and ran a hand through her hair.
Cliff frowned and shook his head, "Alright. Alright, you're fine. But don't even think about climbing that wall. I've seen people climb that wall after training and they fall and die. Don't you dare climb it while dizzy. I hate cleaning up campers off the ground." he warned and then he turned and walked off in a slight spout of anger.
[send Ethan?] Skipper bit her lip and sat down with her back up against the wall, she felt bad about making him go off like that but she hadn't meant to do that. Skipper put her head between her knees and shook her head, she felt really really bad.
Ethan walked along the camp, his hands were in his pockets and his black hair was a mess as he whistled. Seeing a girl curled up on the ground he paused and walked over to her side. Poking her with the tip of his somewhat dirty grey converse he raised a brow at the girl, "Are you dying?" He asked her curiously.
Skipper looked up and laughed slightly. "No, I'm not dying." She said with a shake of her head, not mentioning that she was dizzy to him. "I like those shoes by the way, the have character." she sat up and nearly fell over with dizziness.
