Camp Super *Advanced* discussion

A giant boulder at the edge of camp that most campers come to sit around and hang out at.

Rochelle sat up on top of the boulder and brushed out her hair. She had her legs crossed at her ankles and was singing Colbie Calliat's 'I do' song as she sat there. She was confident she was alone and even if someone else came by, why should she care if they heard her sing? It's not like their opinion was important anyway. She had just arrived at the camp and was still furious that it had turned out not to be a cheer camp. What kind of camp lied to get campers? In her opinion the camp was for losers and the air around her was charged with that feeling that came into the air right before a storm hit.

Ky walked around kicking little pebbles and rocks around as he whistled. Spotting Rochelle he chuckled. "Still torn up about the camp Darin'?" He winked leaning on the large rock. In truth he had the sane reactiOn when he first came to the camp, but then he didn't mind because it felt like a stable home for a little while. Traveling with his mother, made him feel as if camp was his home.

Rochelle stopped her singing and looked down at Ky. "Don't poke fun, it's not nice." she scolded and then looked back up and continued to brush her hair. It was obvious that she had just brushed him off. Rochelle Casey Woods had just given Ky the cold shoulder and basically told him to buzz off. In truth she was still very upset about the camp and when he mentioned it the static in the air seemed to increase making the tips of Rochelle's hair fly up.

"Your power seems to make your hair frizzy." Ky chuckled not giving up just yet. She can seem like a little fun.... He thought and ran his hand through his hair knocking off a black beanie. With our realizing his own ability began to change the atoms around her. Causing the static aroun Rochelle to disappear. All that was left was a feeling of heaviness in the air. His ability was a handful at tines, interfearing when it was not wanted. Ky grinned up at her anyway, climbing up easily and sitting across from her. "This place isnt that bad."

Rochelle scowled, "It's not cheer camp." she said simply and set her brush down to the side of her before crossing her arms over her chest. "What are you doing out here anyway? I came out here to be alone, hence the thick air and the static feeling. It's meant to make people go away." she said bluntly and frowned at the male in front of her. She looked over at the beanie he had knocked off, "You dropped something."

Ky shrugged and grinned sheepishly at her. "Well, I was walking and I heard you singing." He smiled leaning back on his hands, his shirt ridding up a little to show part of his tanned flat stomach muscles, and looked over at her. "I have to say your pretty impressive, though that scream you gave when you found out this wasn't cheer camp beats it by a long run." he laughs. As he shifted you got wifs of his body spray. Along with that he hand on a tight shirt that showed off the tight muscles in his stomach and chest and pair of black shorts.

Rochelle rolled her eyes, "Anyone can sing and anyone can scream." she said simply and frowned. It was obvious that she wasn't going to make things easy for him, even if he did smell good and had nice toned muscles. Hmmmm wonder if he plays sports. He's just as if not more toned than Rick.... she thought to herself but her eyes and facial expression portrayed anything esle. After all she wasn't a head cheerleader for nothing and she was an expert at hiding her emotions.

Ky studied her, his eyes going from her eyes, down to her feet that up again. Looking back at her he smiled. "So let me guess what your going to do. Your going to call up he boyfriend a s have him bail you out of this joint?" A small smirk played at Ky's lips. "You can't leave though, there is a spell on this place. You have to ask a counselor if you can leave and most of the time they don't let us. So sweet pea, make yourself at home you will be here for the rest of the summer." Ky sat up holding his arms out infront of him and then sweeping them back. "I'm Ky by the way, Cabin__"

Rochelle frowned at him, "One, I was not going to call Rick. Two, I already found out about the barrier the hard way. Three, I already have a plan about the counselor thing. That Cliffton guy is a real womanizer and I bet that I could just bat my eyes, make out with him, and he would let me walk out of here home free." she said simply and raised a brow, "And I'm Rochelle Casey Woods. My friends call me Elle and I'm Cabin 2." She said and frowned at him, watching him with her dark blue eyes she assesed him as if she expected him to grow another head or something.

"Hmmm, so it appears your gonna do Cliffton." Ky laughed in amusement. "Wow, he will be so happy to hear that one. But hate to break it to you, he likes sex but he ain't going to let you through." Shaking his he ran his hand through his hair again and looked up at the sky. "So you do have a boyfriend?" Ky asked slightly dispointed but didn't let it show in his voice or eyes.

Rochelle frowned and pursed her lips slightly, "Oh? And how do you know that that won't work?" she asked him and her eyes were venomous, it was obvious she wanted out of this camp and she was willing to do anything to achieve that goal. "And yes I do have a boyfriend. He's the star of the football team, the best quarterback we've had in 15 years and it's only natural that I should date him. I am the head cheerleader after all." she said the words about her cheerleader status with pride.

Ky rolled his eyes. "Your just like the rest of them." He tsked his tongue in disappointment. "Well karma is a bitch, and it will bite you in that ass for sleeping with Cliffton, because you know now Rick is going to find out sooner or later." Ky looked over at her. "I played football for awhile....but my mom is constantly traveling and dragging me with her so I had stop. I was in line for a scholarship too." He frowned slightly.

Rochelle rolled her eyes, "I highly doubt Rick would care. After all he's screwed the entire JV cheer squad and that's only since the beginning of this year." she said simply and then raised a brow at him, "Why the hell do you sound dissappointed? It's not like you're even close to me or anything." she growled out, she hated that sound. That tone of dissaproval, it was the same sound of her parent's voices every time they spoke to her.

"You don't love each other then." Ky looked at her. "Your only together for appearances then." He knew what he said was true, even though he traveled he ha a few serious girlfriends he never betrayed them by sleeping with another girl. Ky loved those girls, he still does. "He sounds like a douche bag, I would worry about who my dick need up in if I had a girlfriend." though he was being serious he was kind of enjoying this. Watching her anger bubble up to the surface. Rochelle was making herself real unattractive on how she was going to go about things.

Rochelle frowned and lightning flashed behind her, "Of course I don't love him. What idiot falls in love during high school?" she growled out and then she shook her head, "Why am I even talking to you?!" she asked herself and then she slid down from the rock, grabbing her hairbrush before she did so. Landing on her feet she was barefoot and her heels were nearby. Walking over towards the silvery shoes thunder crashed overhead and a light rain started to fall.

Ky chuckled and purposely changed the molecules of her shoes making them melt in her hands. "Good bye, Rochelle. But welcome to Camp Super, were dreams come true." he said the last part jokingly. Sliding down from the rock her grabbed his beanie and jogged towards the trees. Once out of ear and eye shot he frowned and shook his head. Ky had that feeling though, the feeling you get when you meet the one. She may seem like a skank but he was going to break her down. The easy way or the hard way. Which way would be her choice. But he knew this would also be good for her

Rochelle looked at her melted shoes and scowled in annoyance. In her anger lightning struck the ground near her and blackened it to a crisp. Scowling she stomped off towards her cabin. She was going to get him back, that was for sure and she would get him back good. She was going to learn her stupid powers and make a rain cloud float over his head for years. He had melted her shoes! Melted them! And they were one of her good pairs too.

Dani's feet dangled off of the edge of the rock as she sat on top of it. Her bright red hair was picked up a bit by the wind, but the girl kept her eyes narrowed, looking for movement in the bushes. She was in one of those moods again, the one where she wanted to hunt for a small animal even in human form. It was one of the things she couldn't control that Parker said she'd try and help her with. Oh well, maybe later. Her ears perked up slightly when a branch cracked, but she stayed on the rock, determined to see what it was before running after it.

Andrew was walking silently through the the forest, heading towards the boulder. Being stealthy and moving soundlessly was one of the many perks that came with being a vampire and the tall trees gave him some shelter from the burning sun. He was almost at the boulder when a twig snapped under her shoe. It wasn't a very loud sound, but it tore through the silence and to his sensitive ears, sounded more like a tree falling.

Narrowing her bright orange eyes, the glare from the sun above Danielle made it so she couldn't see what it was. Even her good eyesight wasn't going to help her. Climbing down from the rock, she walked until there was shade, then she spotted a dark figure not too far away. Wondering if he had caused the noise, she raised an eyebrow, "Hello?"

Andrew looked up when he heard a voice and saw a girl standing not too far away. He wondered why she was talking to him, or how she even knew he was there, then realized she must have heard the twig snap. "Uh, hi," he said, walking towards her.

Squinting, she still couldn't see who it was, Dani thought for a moment...she probably wouldn't know who it was anyway. She'd only been here for a few hours anyway, she hadn't met that many people between arriving and coming to the boulder. Why did she come here anyway? It was somewhere quiet... "I was about ready to pounce on you." Danielle said with a smirk on her face, walking back over to the rock.

Andrew followed the girl back over to the boulder. He didn't recognize her from last year, which meant she must be new to the camp. He was usually pretty good at guessing what species people were, but he wasn't quite sure about her. Though she had said she was ready to pounce on him, which narrowed it down. "Yeah well pouncing on me wouldn't have been a very good idea," he replied.

"Hmm...and why is that?" Danielle asked, seeing if that would answer her question on what he was. There were so many different things here, she didn't know the difference. Things such as werewolves, vampires, and elves were all fake to her before today. Yea, she might have special abilities to shape shift, but that didn't mean it meant every impossibility was real...until today.

((I'm driving through Arizona right now so my internet is a little patchy))

Andrew raised an eyebrow at her. "Well let's just say that things might have gotten a little bloody," he said, flashing her a smile and revealing his fangs. He studied her closely, noticing her orange eyes. He still couldn't figure out what she was.

Dani's hand automatically ran up to cover her throat and she stuck her tongue out is disgust, "Yuck, that's disgusting. I can't believe you'd actually bite a lady." So he was a vampire, that was different, that's maybe why he was so pale.

((Aw, I wish! I might be going to college in Arizona though, so maybe one day :) ))

Andrew laughed at her reaction. He had been expecting her to be scared, or at least surprised, but all he got was yuck. "Actually, I prefer females, but I wouldn't bite you. I'm pretty sure the counselors wouldn't be too happy about that. I couldn't even if I wanted to, nobody at this camp is exactly human," he said with a shrug. "You know what I am, so do you mind returning the favor?" he asked, leaning on the rock.

Trying not to laugh too hard, she put her hand over her mouth to muffle some of it. When she could stop for a bit, Danielle raised an eyebrow, suddenly recognizing him. He was in her cabin. "You might not want to tell that to the female standing in front of you. Even if you won't bite me, I'll probably have nightmares for life." Pausing for a moment, she smirked and wondered what he thought of her eyes, "I don't do favors." A grin spread on her face.

Andrew sighed and rolled his own blood red eyes. "You never know, I might get a little peckish. You better sleep with one orange eye open," he said. "And you're really going to make this difficult for me aren't you? If I guess right, will you tell me?" he asked.

Sticking out her tongue again in disgust, she climbed back to the top of the boulder easily and looked down at him from the top, her feet ticked safety in an Indian fashion. "When I learn how to do that, I'll let you know." Pausing for a moment, she wondered if he could even guess, "Fine, I'll help you, but only if you promise to not bite me." She knew he wouldn't anyway, but hey, there's no hurt in getting him to make a deal. Dani was actually having a lot of fun at the moment, a lot more than her boring room back in her cabin.

Andrew stroked his chin thoughtfully. "You drive a hard bargain, but I guess we have a deal. Despite how amazingly delicious you smell, I won't bite you," he promised. "So, what are you?"

She bit her lip, "I'll remember that the next time you stand next to me." Dani hadn't really met a vampire before, so it was quite interesting to continually more about him. Was he afraid of garlic and wood stakes like all the movies said? Maybe she'd ask him later. Tilting her head to the side, she blinked her eyes once, "It's an animal." Danielle never said she would tell him exactly what she was, he'd just have to guess a few times first.

"Well that really narrows it down," Andrew said sarcastically. He thought about it for a moment. The red hair and orange eyes must have something to do with her animal. "I don't know, a fox?" he guessed.

Surprise flashed across her features, "Lucky guess." She really hadn't expected him to get it so soon. She'd gotten things like tiger, falcon, or even a kangaroo. Of course, this was a vampire she was talking to, he was pretty smart. But giving him that compliment might be a different if she said it, trying to keep her face completely serious, "You're smarter than you look."

Andrew was just as surprised as she was. He hadn't expected to get it right the first time. She smirked at her compliment. "Wow, I'm touched," he said. "You're not too bad yourself. Actually, I think you're rather foxy," he said with a wink.

"You should be." she said teasingly. Sliding down the rock side, Dani realized how tall he was to her and put her hands on her hips, gazing up at him. "See this? This is me laughing." Danielle said, completely serious but pretty much laughing her guts out on the inside. She was pretty good at facial expressions, being called foxy though was a first. He really was pretty smart.

Andrew grinned t her. "If this is you laughing, I'd hate to get you mad at me," he said. He glanced at the boulder behind them. "Well, when you're done laughing, would you like to tell me what you were doing out here anyway?" he asked.

Danielle let the corner of her mouth rise a bit, "No you would not. And I don't think sucking my neck would help your cause." She shrugged her shoulders and took a step back, "I was...hunting." Dani played with the bracelet around her wrist just to keep her occupied, first years were always the ones under control, even with Dani's persona, she wasn't perfect, not by a long shot.

Andrew noticed the bracelet she was fiddling with and he instinctively tensed up. Silver, no matter how small, always had that effect on him. He tried to relax, it's not like they were going to be holding hands anytime soon. Andrew was so caught up in his own thoughts that he didn't realize that Danielle had stopped speaking. "What? Oh, hunting, yeah," he said, pulling himself back to the present conversation.

Eyebrows knitting together, Dani glanced down at her bracelet and then back up at him. Why was he so tense all of the sudden, ohh... "Vampires can't be near silver, huh?" She quickly took it off and glanced around somewhere to set it while they were momentarily talking. Throwing it over the rock, Danielle figured she could find it later, it shouldn't be that hard to find. "Better?" she asked, wondering if it was still too close.

Andrew nodded. "Much better. Touching silver isn't exactly a pleasant sensation for us," he said. He looked in the direction she threw the bracelet. "You didn't have to throw it so far away though," he told her with a smirk. "Setting it on the boulder would have been fine."

Dani raised her eyebrows in amusement, "Well you actually lost your smart-mouth there for a second. Plus, how should I have known? Any other strange things you need to stay away from?" Yes, she had watched all the vampire movies. No, not willingly. But Danielle was glad that she had because maybe some of the stuff she already knew about were true. Or it could all be fake, she'd even seen moves about vampires referencing other vampire movies of about how some of the stuff everyone knew was fake. Now that she thought about it, DD really found it quite confusing.

Andrew shrugged. "All of the typical vampire stuff. Garlic, holy water, sunlight. And before you ask, no, we do not sparkle. Unless we're dying," he told her. "Anything else you want to know about us?" he asked.

"Hmmm...interesting." A smirk rose on her lips showing that those shows had been right, who knew television could be so helpful. Snapping her fingers in mock disappointment, an amused glint was in her eyes, "Aww...too bad, I was looking forward to that." The tone of her voice pretty much contradicting everything she was saying.

Andrew laughed. "Good to know you were looking forward to my death," he said. "So, enough about me, what about you? What is shapeshifting like?" he asked. "Being a fox mist be interesting."
