The shoreline of the lake. It's a bit secluded and sandy but there are quite a bit of weeds in the water by the shore so it's just used for sun tanning and picnics not for actual swimming.

Ky sat on the shore that night after curfew and looked up at the sky. There was a blanket laid out in the sand with a few candles and glasses with sparkling water. Ky watched the stars as he waited for Rochelle to come. If she came. He never felt like this for a girl before.
Rochelle walked out along the shore and spotted a small blot of light in the distance. Deciding that it must be Ky she walked over towards the source and seeing him she plopped down on the ground next to him. She was just wearing some jeans and a simple black t-shirt. In her mind she had half been expecting it to be a prank and seeing him she raised a brow, "So you weren't just pulling my chain, you actually like me?" she asked him bluntly.
Ky sat up and nodded. "Yes," that is all he said as he handed her a glass of sparkling water. "Sorry, it is all the campstore would give me." he grinned sheepishly. "Rochelle, I like you. We established that. I want to be be close with you, but you push me away. Fine I admit I'm a ass whole but I'm never around girls. Rarely, my mom drags me all over the world. The longest I stayed in one place was five weeks." he shrugged.
Rochelle shrugged, "It's okay. You don't act all that different from the guys I'm used to being around, except that you apologize." she nodded and took a sip of the water, "And the campstore should only give out water. Alcohol makes people monsters." she said simply and then raised a brow at him, "Why do you like me anyway? I'm a bitch."
Ky took her hand softly. "You are not, I let my anger get the best of me. I'm sorry a out that." He leaned over and kissed her cheek softly letting his lips linger for a few moments before pulling away. He took a sip of his water.
Rochelle just stared at him, "But I am a bitch. I'm mean and selfish and I'm not very nice. I've been nothing but mean to you." she sighed and shrugged, "But you are fairly hot when you get mad."
Ky chuckled and smiled at her. "Well thank you. But your not a bitch, you were just disapponted. I would have been too." he sky blue eyes looked into hers and he took her other hand. "I want to be able to know you."
Rochelle nodded and smiled at him, "Alright. Sure. What do you want to know?" she asked him deciding to just be honest with him because then maybe things wouldn't turn out like they had with Rick and Jeff and Tomas.
Ky shrugged. "Hmmm, I didn't think that far." he blushed and bit his lip. "How about you tell me what you want me to know." Ky smiled softly and gently pulled her back to look up at the sky. His arm laced around her waist pulling her close to him.
Rochelle tensed up and her first instinct was to pull away but at the last moment she decided not to and instead allowed him to hold her. Looking up she bit her lip and nodded, "Alright. Well I'm 16, a gifted human. If you can call it a gift. My mother expects nothing but the best from me as does my father. I'm head cheerleader, I'm dating the star of the football team, and I have straight A's." she shrugged and raised a brow at him, "Your turn." she said simply.
"I'm 18, gifted human. My dad died when I was thirteen and my mom is CEO of some company. I never had a home, hotel rooms, air planes. Those are my homes. I never had girlfriends. One or two but they cheated on me." Ky shrugged. "But you don't like Rick do you?" he knew her likely response but he could tell by the way she talKed about him that she disliked him.
"Of course I don't like Rick. No one likes their boyfriends in high school. You just date them to prove that you can and that you aren't a loser." She shrugged and smiled, "Travel kid huh? I would have loved to be one of them. Staying at a high school just sucks. People learn all that they can about you and then they aim to take you down."
Ky nodded. "It is very lonley, you don't meet many people." he sigheand pulled her on top of him. "Your beautiful Rochelle, and amazing." Ky whispered looking into her eyes. "Can I kiss you?" he whispered breathlessly
Rochelle smiled a bit and then kissed him gently and softly. Pulling away she shrugged and then pulled out of his hold and sat next to him. Running a hand through her hair she smiled at him and shrugged, "See kissing a cheerleader, it's not nearly as amazing as it's cracked up to be." she said and shrugged acting as if it didn't mean anything to her even with her racing heart.
Ky looked at her. "I like you Rochelle. I want to be with you." he whispered watching her. Leaning down he pressed her lips to hers, his hand cupping the back of her neck and head. His heart raced.
Rochelle pulled away again and smiled a bit, a soft sad smile. "You don't even know me." she said simply and then she looked around and stood up. Dusting off the back of her jeans she handed him the glass and then shrugged. "Thanks for the date, Ky." she said simply and with that she walked off towards her cabin.
Ky sighed and watched her leave. There wasn't nuch he could do anymore to convince her. When she was ready she would come to him. Getting up he left the stuff and went to his cabin. Their kiss replayijng in his mind over and over like a broken record.
Carter walked down to the beach, his hands in his pockets. The lake didn't look to inviting for swimming, because of all the weeds in the shoreline and such, but it was still calming. The gentle breeze coming in off the water was comforting, and put Carter in a better mindset. Since coming to the camp, he really just felt lost, like he had no idea what he was supposed to do.
Allix waded up from the water, her red hair dripping down her back as she pulled the canoe up behind her. Her white shirt was sticking to her like a second skin, the fabric nearly see-through. It was a damn good thing she'd decided to wear a black camisole underneath it, almost as if she'd had a prophecy about tipping over in the boat. Her bare feet hit sand and she smiled, raking her wet bangs back away from her face. The swim back had been exhausting, trying to hold the canoe with one hand and pull herself forward with the other arm. But her ability was all over the place and if she'd gotten back in, she probably would have just tipped herself over. Again.
Carter heard someone splashing, and turned around. There was a girl struggling up onto the shore, pulling a canoe all by herself. She was soaked from head to toe, and she looked ready to fall over. Carter jogged over to where she was and stepped into the water. "Need help?" He asked rhetorically, and took one side of the canoe, helping her pull it out of the water onto the shore.
Allix turned her head, catching sight of a guy jogging along the sand toward her. Damn, I probably look like a drowning cat. With fur the color of a fire hydrant. The thought would've been funny if it hadn't been aimed at herself. The tie she'd been using to pull her fire colored hair back had gotten lost somewhere in the lake. She opened her mouth when he asked if she needed help, about to say it was fine, but he was already helping her pull it up to the shore. "As you can see, I hadn't been anticipating a nice dip in the lake." A small smile turned up the corner of her lips as she motioned toward her clothes. "Thanks for the help, by the way." The slightest bit of an accent tinged her voice.
Carter nodded, a small smile creeping up on his face. "Yeah, I can see that." He said, helping her drag the canoe up further on the shore, then turned it over so the water could drip out of it. "What happened, anyway?" He asked. She was completely soaked, and so was the canoe. He was surpised it hadn't just sunk to the bottom of the lake, it was so saturated in water.
Allix's blue green eyes glanced down, catching his smile. "Accidentally tipped it over." With the freaking power of my mind. You know, just a tiny detail. She was breathing a slightly heavier than normal, tired from the swim. The Irish accent playing along with her words got a little stronger, thanks to the distraction. She helped him flip it over, her wet toes curling in the hot sand. Pushing her wet bangs back away from her face, she smiled a little. "I'm Allix, by the way."
