Harry walked silently into his dorm, looking around. Not very exciting... He thought, repressing a sigh. He set down his bag, and sat down on his bed.

Harry heard the announcement, and sighed, hoping to see his siblings there as he stood and left the dorm.

((Harry is in the field so I'll just use Trent if that is okay?))

Trent sighed as he walked out of his brothers dorm, and down the hallway, finally having calmed down a little. His sister, Denna, had sent him to his brother's dorm on accident, but he didn't really care, and never bothered to correct her. "She'll figure out soon," he grumbled to himself. He blinked in surprise when he nearly ran into a girl, having been lost in thought. "Hey! Watch it, will ya?" he said, frowning.

Caroline tentatively took a step into the dorm, momentarily disappointed it wasn't filled with cupcakes, unicorns, and blood.

Harry led Caroline into his dorm, closing the door behind them. He sat down on his bed with a small sigh, glancing around at the boring colors.

Caroline took a seat in one of the dusty old chairs and crossed her legs. "So."

Harry shrugged. "Um... well I'm not really sure what to talk about... " he scratched the back of his head. "You like... Chinese food?" he asked, flashing a grin.

Caroline chuckled. "As a matter of fact I do. It was my last meal before..." She narrowed her eyes slightly and gazed distantly at the floor, freezing in place at the memory.

Harry blinked, looking at little shocked and surprised. "Oh... I'm sorry if it..." he let out a small sigh, running his fingers through his hair. "Are you.. okay...?" he asked softly, looking at her with a worried gaze.

Caroline blinked heavily and turned back to Harry. "Yeah, it's just not something I...like to think...about." She smiled weakly.

Harry nodded, understanding completely. "Sorry for mentioning that then..." he murmured, furrowing his brows. "Perhaps we should change the subject..."

"It's alright. You should probably know anyway." Caroline said, looking down at her folded hands.

Harry sighed softly. "Well.... not if you don't want to tell me...." he murmured, giving her an apologetic look.

"It's okay, Harry. I would rather you know now then fin dout later." Caroline smiled broadly, trying to make him stop trying to make her not say anything.

Harry swallowed nervously. "I'm all ears," he murmured, smiling softly as he took her hand in.his.

Caroline stared at their entwined fingers and sighed. "When I was twelve, I was institutionalized." She smiled softly, even though what she was feeling was not something to smile about.

Harry nodded slowly, a little shocked to hear that. She didn't seem crazy or anything. But he squeezed her hand gently, giving her a small smile. "Okay so.... they let you out... that means you're better right?" he asked, a little confused.

"I suppose so..." Caroline shrugged.

Harry frowned a little. "Well... even if you were still a little crazy.... I'd still want to be your friend," he said with a small smile, blushing a little. "Who cares what they say anyways? You seem like a nice girl so...." he shrugged, unsure what to say after that.

Caroline grinned broadly. "Thanks, Harry. I couldn't have a better friend."

Harry nodded, smiling back at her. She looks good with a smile... he thought. He sighed softly, gazing at her warmly. "Is there anything else or....?"

"Um..." Caroline thought. "I was a hobo from when I was eight, up until I was eleven." She shrugged.

Harry nodded. "So was I... from when I was about thirteen or so," he said with a shrug. "Not that big of a deal," he said with a small laugh.

"Think. An eight year old girl living on the streets with no one to protect her. It's a wonder I wasn't raped." Caroline laughed.

Harry gave a light chuckle, having not thought of that. "Depends on where you lived really," he said, shrugging.

"Texas?" Caroline said, naming the location in which she was hoboed.

Harry shrugged once more. "As far as I know, people from Texas are fairly nice," he said, laughing softly.

"Then you've obviously never been. At least where I was, it was horrible." Caroline said.

Harry frowned a little at that, and shook his head. "No... I lived in New York my whole life... if you ask me, that place is worse," he said with a small shudder.

Caroline nodded. "I can imagine." She said quietly.

Harry sighed softly, giving her a reassuring smile. He fell silent, unsure of what to say.

Caroline leaned forward slightly, instict telling her to kiss him, but mentality telling her to just be a friend.

Harry blinked, seeing her lean forward. He blushed a little, feeling butterflies in his stomach, and felt a sudden urge. He leaned forward, ever so slightly, his heart beginning to race. He looked into her eyes, wondering if he should, or if her shouldn't.

Caroline blushed, nervous at the thought of actually receiving her first kiss. Instead of leaning forward more, she decided to let Harry choose.

Harry swallowed nervously, and leaned forward, his eyes fluttering shut as their lips brushed for a moment before he finally gave her a soft kiss, reaching up to gently caress her cheek with his hand.

Caroline's heart skipped a beat as Harry's lips brushed against hers. She slid her arms around his neck.

Harry tentatively wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her closer as he went deeper into the kiss.

Caroline pulled her hands from hanging around his neck to running her fingers through his hair. She knew this would be awkward afterwards, making her want this to last forever.

Harry felt a buzz of excitement flow through him as he continued to kiss her softly, yet passionately. He was tentative, and a little unsure, but his heart was racing now in his chest with pure excitement. His hands ran up and down her back slowly, his skin tingling.

Caroline pulled back a few inches, blushing a dark shade of red. She bit her lip to stop herself from giggling uncontrollably.

Harry blinked, gazing at her curiously, and noticed her blush. "Um... sorry... I guess I couldn't help myself," he murmured, blushing a little as well.

"It's alright." Caroline said, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. "I...uh..enjoyed it." She cracked a small smile.

Harry nodded, pulled away fully and scratching the back of his head. "Me too... I guess," he said with a soft chuckle.

Caroline took a deep inhale. "So...What do we do now?" Honestly, she'd never had any experience with a boy before, so she was completely lost.

((I have to go for an hour, sorry :( ))

Harry shrugged, rubbing his hands together. "I don't know really...." he murmured. Frankly, this had never happened to him before.
