LOL
I think I'll just make something up. My dad's O something, and my mom's AB something, I think... LOL So I could by ANYTHING.

WAIT!!!! LUNA!!!! So your dad is O, and your mom is AB... I just learned about blood types!
O- ii
AB- I(A)I(B)
Luna, you could either be A or B blood, genetically!

Ok, here it comes...
What blood type you have depends on what blood type your parents have, actually. It also depends on whether they're carrying dominant or recessive alleles (alleles are different forms of traits). Have you learned Punnett squares yet??? If you have, good. If you haven't, crud. This complicates things.
Anyways, dominant alleles are the ones that show up in your appearance. Recessive alleles are the ones that are hidden. Though the weird thing is, if you have TWO recessive alleles, it shows up. If you have one dominant and one recessive, the dominant one shows up.
For example, eye color (a simplified version). Brown is the dominant color, and blue is the recessive color. Let's say that little Billy's mom had brown eyes, and his dad had blue eyes. The dominant color (brown) will be represented as B, and the recessive (blue) as b. So Billy could get...
BB- mom, bb- dad
Since the B's and b's are combined, he could have either Bb (brown) or... actually, that's it.
Bb-mom, bb- dad
If this was it, and his mom had one dominant and one recessive, the story would be different. Billy could have Bb (brown) or bb (blue), because he could get the two recessive traits from his mom and dad.
So, for blood types...
O type- ii (alleles- both recessive)
AB type- I(A)I(B) (this is called codominance, when two dominant thingys are in)
A type- I(A)i (one dominant, one recessive) or I(A)I(A) (2 A dominant)
B type- I(B)i (one dominant, one recessive) or I(B)I(B) (2 B dominant)
So, Luna, if your dad is O, he would have ii. If your mom is AB, she would have I(A)I(B). So you could get...
I(A)i- A type blood
or...
I(B)i- B type blood

Punnett Squares can go die...And sorry, I don't know my blood type nor do i plan on doing math at this time at night lol

Okay dokay, LOL Because I was just in the polls section, thinking, 'Hm... don't see anything...'
hahahah i see... sarcasm is even harder to get when you accidentally use the wrong word >.< haha..
LUNA! GO GOOGLE PUNNETT SQUARES! NOW!
But in case the internet is too confusing, like it usually is... Punnett squares are these squares (duhhh) that show the possible combinations of two traits, from the parents of whatever human or something. Sooo.... remember about the B and b? Dominant and recessive? It would look something like this...
___B____b___
b |__Bb_|_bb__|
b |__Bb_|_bb__|

Some scientists believe there is a connection between your blood type and your personality traits. We are trying to see if that is true.

Okay, Nightshade, that part about the blue/brown eyes totally contradicts the end of my 7th grade science..........
What happened at the end of your 7th grade science??? Because I know I'm right, unless I accidentally made a typo.
