.Taking careful aim with her pool stick, Sy'minda lined up and shot, hitting the 8 ball soundly into the corner pocket. She'd come down here about an hour ago, knowing no one else would be playing games at two in the morning. She'd wanted some time of her own to think and to meditate over the happenings of the past few days.
Gathering all of the balls from the bin beneath the table, she quickly racked them and set the cue ball up for another game.

Bruce came in, fully dressed in black dressed pants, dressed shoes, and a white dress shirt with the top button unbuttoned."Figured you were here."
"Of course. When you a need a second to process a lot of information, you always come here and I always come in a half hour later with beer.
"I've been here an hour. Did you doze off and have some sort of premonition and that's why your late?" She turned, returning to her game.
"What...Premonition? Anyway I had to go get a bottle of wine and two glasses. So different situation than the other times.
"You apparently knew my brother was dead before anyone else." She sunk the 5 in the middle pocket
"I can always talk to you like you can always talk to me. It's just that I don't like talking about that certain thing. There's a reason no one knows."
The pool stick in her hand snapped and she walked over, tossing it into garbage as she picked up a new one, continuing with her game. "What else am I to think?"
"Like the fact that I've never cheated on you,but you've cheated on me once. If I would tell the most important person in my life, it must be important."
Her pool stick snapped again. "I never cheated on you! You must've lost your ever-loving mind." Picking up the cue ball, she chucked it at the wall, shattering it.
"You thought I was cheating and retaliated. I found out and killed him and I forgave you. Don't act like you don't remember" Bruce said.
She crushed the rest of the pool balls, leaving a pile of colored shards on the green velvet. "Liar." Sy'minda growled.
"I'm not." Bruce snapped his fingers. "I almost forgot. My forgiving you included making you forget. No wonder you don't believe me." Bruce said truthfully yet in a carefree way almost like he was toying with her mind and emotions.
She flipped the table and growled again. "Stay out of my head." Her eyes shifted between her human ones and her dragon eyes as she tried to hang onto her form.
"It was for the best honey. I didnt want you to regret your actions. Neither did you." Bruce said simply.
She tangled her fingers in her hair, pulling out locks of it as she moaned, sinking to her knees. Her back bulged, wings trying to form as her skin became patterned with scales.
Bruce frowned. "Sy'minda. You're tearing yourself apart." Bruce walked up to her and put his index finger to her forehead and whispered an encantation. "Sleep."
Blaise led Casy into the game room, looking around at all the games. "Hmmm, interested in a game of pool?" he asked, looking at her with a grin.
Blaise nodded a bit, handing her a pool stick. He began racking the balls, and positioned them at one end, placing the cue ball at the other. "The point of the game is to get all the colored balls into the pockets," he told her, pointing to the six pockets around the table. "In order to do this, you have to hit the white ball," he pointed to the cue ball, "with the pool stick, which will cause the white ball to hit the colored balls into the pockets," he explained. "But don't get the black one in until the very end, or you lose," he warned, pointing to the eight ball.
She nodded, then eyed the pool stick in her hand. "Do I hit it with the fat end or the skinny end?" Casy asked.
"The skinny end," Blaise told her. "Like this." He demonstrated by leaning over the table, and hitting the cue ball with his own stick. The cue ball rolled, hitting the triangle form of the colored balls, causing them all to go rolling in different directions. "It's pretty simple really. Just try to hit the middle of the cue ball," he instructed.Cato was walking past the game room when he heard voices, and paused, looking in when he noticed Blaise with a girl he didn't recognize. Curiosity getting the best of him, he stepped into the room, raising a brow as he watched Blaise teach her how to play pool.
Casy fought the urge to shift into a cat and pounce on the table so she could bat them around. Laughing softly, she bent to make her shot.
"Cato, she has a tail!" Jaeda cackled, clapping her hands.
"Cato, she has a tail!" Jaeda cackled, clapping her hands.
Blaise chuckled, hearing Jaeda, and shook his head as Ciro came trotting in after her, smiling slightly. "Hey Blaise, " he greeted. He glanced at Cato. "I thought you were going out? " he asked?" Cato shrugged. "Change of plans. Besides, I'd like to meet Blaise's friend," he said with a wry smile. The two headed over to the table, Ciro motioning for Jaeda to follow.
Jaeda skipped inside, reaching out for Casy's tail. The werecat stepped out of reach, hiding slightly behind Blaise. She smiled politely.
Blaise couldn't help laughing. "It's alright, it's just Jaeda. And that's Ciro, " he said as Ciro approached with Cato, the two looking extremely amused. "Who's your friend, Blaise?" Cato asked, smiling warmly. Blaise looked at Casy, raising his brows in question as if wondering if she minded meeting his family members.
Blaise smiled, and turned to his family members. "This is Casy, that's Ciro, Jaeda, and.my father, Cato," he said, motioning to them all. Cato held out a hand. "Very nice to meet you," he said with a smile.
She smiled, bobbing a slight curtsy as she took his hand. "Nice to meet you, Cato. And Ciro and Jaeda."
"Bro'ver Cato." Jaeda tugged on his pants leg. "Why she have a tail?"
"Is she the baby sister?" Casy asked, curious.

"Is she the baby sister?" Casy asked, curious.
Cato smiled, nodding a little. Seems like a nice girl, he thought happily. He blinked, looking down at Jaeda before glancing at Casy, and nodding to answer he question. "Although, I was wondering the same thing," he said, tilting his head to one side. Blaise couldn't help but chuckle, leaning on the pool table.
"You were wondering if I was the baby sister?" Casy asked, trying to clarify.
"Cato, me play with her tail?" Jaeda asked.
"Cato, me play with her tail?" Jaeda asked.
Cato laughed softly. "No, I mean about the tail. You must be... part cat, am I right?" he guessed, titling his head to one side. He glanced at Jaeda, and shrugged, as if unsure of what Casy would say about it. "Yes, please do tell us all about it," Blaise joked, raising a brow at Casy in amusement.
"I'm a werecat, a Felian blue-blood." Casy answered. "My name is Cassandra Brennis, if you've heard of the Brennis family..." No reaction so she shrugged and looked at the little girl. "She can't play with my tail, it isn't a child's toy."
Cato nodded, and when she replied to the unanswered question asked by Jaeda, he couldn't help but laugh. Ciro snickered lightly behind him, shaking his head in amusement. Blaise chuckled softly. "We don't usually know much about werecats anyways," he said.
Blaise nodded. "Perhaps. Anyways, why are you three down here anyways?" He wondered to his family members. "Well, Jaeda actually was wanting to play with you," Ciro said sinply. Cato chuckled. "I was simply passing by and decided to say hello," he replied.
Blaise thought for a moment, looking at Casy. "I suppose we could play in teams... depending on whether Ciro or Cato wants to play," he suggested. Ciro laughed at that. "Come on, you know I can't play pool. Too many accusations of cheating.... though I admit some are debatable, " he said with a wink.
