Zoe- You should include Puerto Rico also, they are all citizens and can vote for US president etc though they have no representation in the senate. I think they are classified as a commonwealth?
I have absolutely no idea! But I'll add it, just for you! :) I just copied this list from the other forums, but I need to read more books!
Zoe, I think I will be living vicariously through you- look forward to seeing what you choose as you go through your lists!
I figured I'd start with Texas. No reason, just that's where I wanted to go first! :) but I went a bit OTT with choosing a book and now have about 7 on my list! :D So I'll have to narrow that down ;-)
I'm gonna end up going round the US too many times!!

You could also try a book that, if my memory serves me correctly, crosses the country but in a time when state boundaries no longer exist: The Road
Ok, so I'm starting in Texas! :) I have started reading Paper Roses in eBook format, if successful this will be the first good length eBook I've ever fully read! :)
Well that was a good State to start with, it's one of the biggest so my map already looks more full ;-)
Google! :D Then I just uploaded it onto one of my servers and linked to it here. When I modify it I just re-upload it with the same name and it automatically changes here :)
I finished reading C.L. Bevill - Veiled Eyes the other day, which is set in Louisianna... although not a real place in Louisianna... does that count??
Yay :)
Ok, for New York I read
by Tonya Plank :) It was actually quite good, think I'm getting used to the whole ebook thing!

still really bad at knowing much about the States or where they are.
I'm going to do this challenge and while I'm at it, I'm going to learn where each State is on the map after crossing it off my list :) Starting with Texas, as they have the cowboys! ;-)
