Fact: I love TID more than TMI.

Oh my goodness, I sat here for like....10 full seconds trying to figure out what TID and TMI stood for. I feel so stupid now :)

I love TMI but I also love TID just a bit more ;)

Anyone else just love all the literature references? All the Tennyson used makes me smile so much :)

Let it be because he is saving Tessa or something then he goes out a hero and saving the girl he loves. But I don't want anyone to die, esp not Will. Did we ever actually get confirmation that Tessa was (view spoiler)[a warlock? Last I read she wasn't 100% sure about that one and they were just assuming that she was one. But she may still be immortal bc of something that was said to her in Clockwork Prince when they were at the Lightwood's party. I don't think Will will be a vampire either...then how would we get Jace in TMI? Will has to carry on the Herondale name! (hide spoiler)]

No I read TMI first but only the first three books. Just finished Clockwork Prince from TID a few days ago. I love TID so much more than TMI though.

Thank you Emma. I now have a new distraction...lol. As if goodreads wasn't distraction enough... And now I REALLY can't wait for Clockwork Princess. *sigh*

i know! the snippets were frustrating, but i liked having parts of clockwork princess to read. even though some of them were super mysterious and leaving me hanging. :D

If she ends up with Jem, I will die. Or, I hope Will is Brother Zacharih and him and Tessa end up meeting again in COHF. That would be so cool.

I don't want neither Will or Jem to be Brother Zachariah. That's the worst fate I think you can imagine for either of them. :(

Can I just say that this and the Mortal Instruments are by far my favorite series? I am a TOTAL fangirl and am so excited for TMI movie and Clockwork Princess! And CoHF! @Sanja I think Jem becomes a Silent Brother to prevent the disease, I am not sure about Will though. I wish there was another cure for Jem and I really don't want Will to be a Silent Brother, but we'll see.

@Sanja I agree. I don't want either of them to be a silent brother. That's just... ugh. I shudder to think of it.

My favorite Snippets are 13, 22 and 27.

That silent brother theory would explain a lot but I'm sure no matter what happens I'm gonna be heart broken because both guys won't get what they want...so sad

Well I am still being optimistic in regards to this book. Even Cassie Clare commented somewhere-can't remember her exact words but there were happy moments so it's not all tears. And as far as the Silent Brother theory, I just don't see it and Clare did say that she put that in the books and that it was misleading.

I know it would be so weird. I can only picture Will dying in battle because that's his life. And Jem made it clear he's accepted his fate

The prologue to CP2 is amazing! I especially loved reading how Jem and Will first met when they were 12. That was adorable. :) And how Will almost instantly seemed to warm up to Jem and change his attitude, you could tell they were going to be pretty close afterwards.

She's was way too young! She turned forsaken because she was too young to get her marks or not trained enough

Oh right, she did turn Forsaken...I missed that part in the prologue. I thought because of Hyacinth who knew Tessa's mom and mentioned a "changeling" that that was what her mother was...because when Tessa asked, Hyacinth said she wasn't a changeling...so I thought maybe her mom. it would've explained why Adele Starkweather was so sick and frail.

I wonder why Starkweather recognized Tessa or seemed to know her from Clockwork Prince..?

Right, I remember this part from Mortal Instruments because I was just about to comment the word, Forsaken, isn't actually used in CP. She may or just mention Tessa's mom but she's important and so is Starkweather. I am just trying to see how Starkweather could relate to her...He seemed concerned about her or maybe it wasn't concern? He was acting really strange. And what's this about Hyacinth knowing Tessa's mother...? I'd actually really like to see more on Jem and Will's bond and more on Jem's past and parents...I want CP2 now!

Yes there's some kinda connection for Clare to put that story about Adele in the prologue but I have no clue as to how. And Tessa was a little too interested in her pic at the institute
