marta the book slayer Hi Gail! You said such kind words. I'm so glad my review was able to make you laugh! It's always nice to make a fun time out of a miserable situation that occurred while I was reading the book. I'm not sure if I want to have any association with anything "from blood and ash related" but maybe there is a chance that a song like that is 100x better than the book. Looking forward to seeing your reviews :)

Gail Meath JOURNEY INTO THE PAST:
Historical romance fiction isn't just about romance. It takes us away to distant eras where we travel to faraway places long ago, meet fascinating people both legendary and fictional and learn about history without even realizing it. It provides us with an adventurous escape from 'normal' life, a sanctuary without boundaries or limitations. Where dreams do come true.

And... it is about romance.

Let me take you on a journey into the past to different worlds that are adventurous, heartwarming, romantic, suspenseful, sometimes frightening, intriguing and fun! Countess Jacqueline is my debut novel and takes place in the Netherlands 1413. But I have completed six other historical romances so far.

Other novels will take you to the Republic of Texas in the Old West; on a high-seas adventure from Bahamas to England to Boston in the 1700s; to Charlotte Harbor, Rochester, New York, for a political thriller at the turn of the nineteenth century; back to Boston where there is an extortion and murder plot in the 1800s; from Kansas City to the Hudson Valley for a murder mystery in the early 1900s; and on the Erie Canal for a coming-of-age adventure in the 1800s. For a brief summary of each, please see my Website at gailmeath.com.
