Paul Aertker Here are highlights from a new bookstore review:

This is a new teen espionage series called Crime Travelers, in the tradition of the Alex Rider books by Anthony Horowitz. If you liked the Alex Rider series and are looking for something in the same vein, Brainwashed is for you!

The series is, to say the least, action packed, and will leave the reader ready for a new adventure.

The series is also squeaky clean.

Brainwashed is the first book in the Crime Travelers series. Lucas and his friends must stop the Good Company and the evil Ms. Gunerro from a massive kidnapping of children destined to be sold into child slavery under an evil industrialist. That Lucas and his fellow agents are able to save the day, is nothing short of the impossible becoming possible.

I love the use of Paris in this book—it’s like a quick trip there. Aertker’s ability to maintain action is remarkable, which should endear the series and this book to readers of about 5th grade and up. The book carries endorsements by many middle school educators. --Larry Yoder

Saul Tanpepper Hey Paul, thanks for connecting! It's great to meet you. I see you write MG. I started off with picture books and YA literary novels before trying my hand at specfic (actually let me decade-long membership in SCBWI expire this year). Fully intend to focus more time and attention to the old stuff in the second half of 2013. Have you published any books yet? I'd love to check them out!
Saul
