Yeah, I will keep working, it's just a question of when I'll have enough time to do it, you know?I feel like moving abroad too, but for some reason I just feel so rooted now in Pakistan. I don't actually like any of my friends that much, or my relatives either, but it's just the country, as crazy as it is I've gotten so used to it! But I hope I do move out to the US at one point, or maybe the UK or Canada even, depending on where life takes me. I find it's real good to explore different places, being stuck in one place stops you from seeing so much more of life, since you're stuck in such a rut.
And that idea about Fake sounds very cool! The whole online meetings turning into actual ones is a very intriguing one, and at the moment a very current and real one. I don't watch MTV at all, actually I never watch tv, lol, but best of luck on your book!

I really can't get enough of books set elsewhere right now. I'm kind of going through a quarter-life crisis where I'm dead set on moving to the UK in the next couple of years, and trying to find a profession for myself that I really love (technical writing is a possibility, checking that out -- and travel writing is another big one). Anyway, that's my way of saying you should keep writing that book :P because I can't stop myself from reading anything along the lines of "character runs away to X exotic, awesome place."
Thank you for saying nice things about FAKE! I'm basically changing everything about it, lol. Have you seen the MTV show, Catfish? That's really inspired me. I'm moving the book back -- it's basically going to be about Jen and Orlando meeting each other in real life, and discovering all the screwed-up lies they've told and whether or not that gets in the way of their real-life relationship. I'm excited about revisiting those characters, and it feels like a really good direction to take it. Also, using my marketing brain, I can use Catfish's popularity as a comparison, and the hosts can read it and write a lovely blurb for my book jacket XD wishful thinking!
Downton Abbey -- oh my god. I haven't seen the premiere of season four yet, because I keep working nights at my stupid day job, but I cannot freaking wait. That ending!!!! AHH! The thing that gets me is that no one found out about You-Know-Who dying! So season four is going to START with that news! Argh. It's going to be so good.
And youre a fan of Downton Abbey arent you! The fourth season seems sooo exciting. I still cant believe they killed you-know-who-off. I just dont get the point, it infuriates me. Worst Christmas special ever!
I love your pic on the blog, so pretty! :DNope, Code Name Verity didnt do much for me, but I think I'll give it another try, read it more carefully.
I think you should definitely give Fake another whirl. The concept of the book is very strong but the book can be much more compelling if some more interesting material was added. To be honest Fake seems like a book that should've gotten published, and a lot of people would've dug it even, but who knows maybe with a little more polishing you might get your lucky break! :D
And the brother-sister-in-Paris book sounds aaawesome. I started a novel too, with this girl who's visiting the city and decides to run away while she's there. Was very engrossed at first, but like everything I abandoned it :p

I tried to read it last year and couldn't concentrate on it, but on my second try I'm LOVING it.
I'm writing more now! Planning to rewrite FAKE for NaNo! I have tons of new ideas for it. I'm also motoring along on the brother-sister-in-Paris book, which is going to turn out pretty good I think :D
The blog is here: http://bookrichhousepoor.blogspot.ca
Same as my my old blog, content-wise, I just changed the URL and made it prettier. It's more fun when you make big changes like that.
Oooh, gimme the link to your blog then so I can check it up! I found A monster calls to be pretty underwhelming, which surprised me given how crazy everyone about it is, but I've found a lot of super-popular books that I read, I end up not liking them at all. On the writing end, dayummm, don't even ask. It's impossible for me to get back into it, ever since I started this stupid accounting qualification I've barely written anything! It's depressing :(

I've read both of Katherine Longshore's Tudor historicals and they were both crazy good. I've actually read a lot of great books so far and not very many bad ones! Always nice.
I started up my blog again! New title: Book Roch, House Poor. Pretty well describes my life these days! I'm taking it super easy, just posting reviews, whenever I feel like it. Feels good getting back into it.
How about writing?! Getting any done?
My facebook is deactivated but I'll totally hit you up whenever I reactivate, it's a good way to keep in touch! I've actually written a new blog post for my imaginary new blog, haha, but it's taking forever to actually make it! And then I'd have to update it too, of course, and I have a feeling that like last time, I'll fall behind and blah blah. I just can't muster the same enthusiasm for blogging that I used to have, which sucks but oh well. I haven't even been reading much, but I'm trying hard to get back into it, cause damnn, I miss books! What's the best you've read so far in 2013?
Hi Aleeza!!! Aww you made my day :P I've sort of been thinking about starting another blog but honestly I don't think I'd be able to keep it up, haha. I'm trying to be more active on goodreads though, maybe I'll start writing better reviews and such here. If you want you can add me on Facebook? I'm an addict and I love talking about books and writing there. It's Rebecca Christiansen :)
Heyyy Becca! I swung by your blog today and realized just how much I've missed it and your awesome posts, so I thought I'd let you know. It really sucks that out whole 'obsessed-with-blogging' period's gone, and I dunno, I feel really nostalgic about it right now for some reason, haha. Anyhoo, I hope I don't sound weird right now, haha, and that your writing's going really well! :)Aleeza
Hey Becca :) First of all thanks for accepting my Invite. I see you are currently reading the "A Song of Fire and Ice Serie" and wanted to ask you If it's good? I'm thinking about to read it since I'm watching the Tv show. Thank You

Haha! That's awesome :P I love how randomly interconnected things are on Goodreads. You'll look back on reviews you loved and realize that all your new friends commented on it too. It's funny.

It's in the mail!! The release date in Canada was the 15th for some reason. It should arrive soon. I CAN'T WAIT.
