Thanks for the friend invite--and I hate beets too!!! Why couldn't God make veggies taste like sugar or chocolate...cookies, maybe?

Barbara Shelton JoAnn Durgin is one of my favorite people, writer and sister in the Lord. She’s as cute and clever as a button, and is so significant in her stories that I feel each character is a personal friend. In her busy life…and I can easily relate…she takes time out to pray for her friend’s special needs. I am a fan who eats up her words like candy and she satifies my reading appetite as though I were eating chocolate. YUM! Sam and Lexa are real people to me and I admire the way they take those weaker ones under their wings and introduce these ones to God’s grace and healing.

Books I, The Awakening was delightful, at times trouble and troubled, a constant page turner; while The Second Time Around was full of interest as to what would happen next. JoAnn wrote of a much more serious matter concerning a young just married couple falling in love again. It was about close relationships, friendships, ministering and helping others. Of course, that was Lexa and Sam's ministry.

I’m looking forward to reading Twin Hearts and preferably sooner than later! JoAnn is fully blessed with God-given talent. She is joy defined.

Blessings,
Barb Shelton
