Pretty good so far. The characters are interesting and likeable and feel very real. The second hand embarrassment is real with Stevie but not so unbearable to the point where I can’t continue reading so that’s definitely a plus. I do hate though how the author is so quick to list race first among the primary characteristics of her character. It feels like she’s logging data and trying to hit a diversity quota.
