Currently lamenting the proportion of this book that I have read without really experiencing what was promised. The questions that the blurb promises will be investigated have not really been touched on yet - there is more discussion about body image and weight than a robust discussion about reclaiming sexual activity. Holding out to the end in case it's just being saved, like a clickbait YouTube video...

Beautiful, BEAUTIFUL prose. Contemplative, hypocritcal, aware, evolving. Can't wait to tell everyone I know to read this.

At this stage, I am confused about how this fits into the 'weird girl lit' genre. I am open to seeing where it goes though. Definitely cannot shake how much the premise grosses me out yet !!
