In this fourth book, and really in the third too, Kingfisher lost any credible insight into male psychology. This really is pretty low-grade romantasy, and very annoying as well. But the completist in me will finish the book.

I actually started this a few days ago and forgot to add to my book tracking list. I loved this book! Can’t wait to read the next one!

Dialogue isn’t that great. But the storyline is great so far. Fascinating. So I’m ignoring the dialogue as much as possible.

Better than the first book, and I enjoyed the first one in the series. So yeah, so far so good.
