Im surprisingly enjoying this so far. Fast paced and super character driven.

12th century England on the verge of civil war…I’m weirdly interested in the characters and so much has happened in almost 200 pages.

What a weird first chapter

OKAY. I love the history woven into the wiring. The way the guillotine is described is CHILLING.
