Thus far i am starting to get confused and a bit bored, bur i think its just a dead spot i hope if i keep reading it gets better.

Elphie and Fi having an affair how wild, here for it though. And now Fi has run into Glinda ugh i wish Ephlie and Glinda would run into eachother again. I feel like they never will how sad.

Glinda is now going by Glinda and her and Elphie are starting to become friends love! Interesting Elphies sister is missing arms interesting

We have also met Boq who is kind of annoying he’s very persistent in his pursuit of Galinda, he tells her he won’t stop, it’s kind of obsessive in a gross way. At the same time, he is respectful so at least he’s not a creeper minus the one time he was spying on ladies undressing, but it did say he looked away when they would become fully naked. Interesting character

We have met Galinda who is more less of an airhead and more stuck in her bubble. Stuck in her way of society, not treating Animals with care, being uptight, but still not as upper class as others and is constantly looking for approval. Shes more complex than I thought.

So far we have learned a lot about Elphaba and her birth and her mother and fathers hatred towards her. Also the nanny character, who cares for her is very interesting. She cares for alphabet as a child, but not necessarily as a person and treats her like any other child but also an odd way. There was lots of world building, which truly I enjoyed. There’s lots of parallels between this and the stage adaptation.

Haymitches story is so depressing it really explains a lot of his later character and his later choices.

Very good so far loving all the connections to the beloved series specifically Katniss, there are also subtle connections to the recent songbirds and snakes book. Very much enjoying learning Hamitches story, why he is the way he is, its already sad, but im curious how it gets worse. How he becomes a drunk after hating it.

Its clear now that the mystery is Jaun is going to propose to Molly, and she is trying to figure out why he’s being so mysterious. I wonder if she will spoil the surprise for herself?

Really painting a pretty picture in the first chapter of what their life is like.

Love these little stories, and the things dykes will do for other dykes specifically fems is so wild and funny im obsessed

Its getting real good! Im learning so much this really is a book of lesbian history

One of the best queer books I’ve ever read. I feel like I always knew how horrible queer people were treated back in the day but I didn’t realize the extent and to see it from a Butch perspective is so interesting. Not to mention I feel like Im reading about how to be a strong butch like this author is acting as a mentor similar to their mentor Butch Al.

Slowly getting through this! Reading this and its making me feel more confident in my decision to start T

Audiobooking; wanting to read to better understand the gender gap. I know its there and I consider myself a feminist, but I think I should be more educated on the topic. This book is very data heavy but it helps get the point across and is very helpful.

Great book so far I like the fun interactive pieces. I might buy the book so i can actually do these interactive pieces.

Really engaging liked the fashion part and having references for clothing brands. Also nice to remind yourself your not a burden

A little all over the place but i fuck with it

Very interesting to hear someone else’s story about feeing uncomfortable in their body, and then with being in the lime light they didn’t have the dame non chalice as every day people do to explore their sexuality or gender. Not usually an audiobook person but this is great.

Slow start

Better than I thought it would be, a little triggering at times for SA ptsd but other than that it’s interesting and real.

Loving it so much! The author is really funny, and i feel very validated. I cant put it down!

First 3 pages are already so sapphic and im obsessed with it

Loving the back and forth perspective from both the main characters

Wow! So Cindy almost got sex trafficked. Then she worked for the palace (kind of saw that coming) but then the prince didn’t recognize her!? Wtf! Dumb, but then also he did, odd. Turns out the duchess is actually cool just a spoiled royal. And now they are gonna have another ball! So crazy how that all worked out.

The addition of a glimpse into Lady Tremaines life ooft. Love that. And the way Cindy escapes, wild. Im already starting to wonder how this will play out maybe she gets a job and works her way up, and one day she needs to goto the castle to deliver something and runs into the prince?! Speaking of which I love the addition to their relationship during the ball!❤️
