Man, this is one of the most annoying characters I've read from in a while. Literally half the book so far is her complaining about every aspect t of her life.

This had a brilliant first line but I can not get into anything happening.

I liked the first story enough but couldn't care less about anything else in the others. I'm not feeling the writing and don't feel the need to finish even though its short. Disappointing.

So far this seems more a Dark Fantasy than a Horror but I'm obsessed. Very Fairytale-esque in the best way.

What I the Sayaka Murata level weirdness is even happening at this point?

Constantly reminding myself that the first book is supposed to such compared to the rest. Hoping it picks up.

Reminding myself that even though its under 400 pages, King wrote it so really I should add 200 pages to the total count.

Did I find a way to weasel another Carl book into fitting my monthly reading challenge just because I wanted to keep reading it? Oops.

I love Atwood and I can already see how this is probably a brilliant book. I'm just bored and find the structure to be a bit all over the place. It doesn't help that its historical fiction and upon looking into it more, I wouldn't have ever picked it up if it wasn't Atwood.

This is either going to be the dullest thing ever or an absolute literary masterpiece. Currently falling somewhere directly in between.

I forgot what it felt like to be this invested in a book.

This is just what I needed. I already get the hype.

Well reading this....was a choice.

Sometimes I like a ridiculous horror and sometimes...well....better choices could have been made.

If I have to hear this grown-ass man say "I want my Mommy" one more time...
