This is an excellent book but I've stalled because alongside the oceanic awesomeness Bradley describes, there is inevitably the distressing environmental destruction by humans. With the current state of the world, it's hard to keep going. But I'm sure I'll come back to it.

Living this beautifully written alternative history.

Loving it. Finished tapa and cotton, now onto wool.

Loving it so far, although not as much as 80 trees because many of the plant histories are more familiar to me so there aren't as many surprises. I enjoy how Drori blends botany, ecology, and economic/cultural/social history, and the illustrations are just gorgeous. Definitely a keeper.

Stranded part-way through as I had to return it to the library and bookshop hasn't filled my order yet.

Loving this book. A satisfying holiday read.

Wow. I'm reading this for my Indigenous reading challenge and also the Winter readathon. But it's intense. Small bites at a time.

haven't read a lot of urban fantasy, but perhaps this book will change that. The story is interesting, and I like how it switches from conventional 1st person to online/media reviews & samples as a way of filling in the backstory. I'm racing through it.

It's taking me a while to get through this - I'm realising I had a much longer attention span when I read it as a teenager. Or perhaps I should stop reading it at night. Mostly still enjoying it though.

I have very fond memories of this book, which I first read when I was in my late teens - enjoying it again now.

Finding the style a bit of a challenge, but Mieville's supposed to be good, right?
