the imagery is blowing me away, coming from a girl living in a small village in the south west of ireland aswell, the author has captured the idyllic yet never ending same old same old of these small irish villages in its entirety. from the chippie, to the hierarchies of secondary school, the local corner shop and the native tongue, it’s so good.
