these books always make me feel a new appreciation for nature and life. they’re such beautiful books and i love the old-style writing

um don’t look at the date i started this book please and thank you. it put me in a huuuugggeeee reading slump so i decided to put it away and read it again when i felt ready hahaha

I really wish I liked this book more than i did. now im not saying it was bad, as it had some good points in it especially about being in the moment and “participating” in life, but I can’t help but compare it to other books I’ve read and judge it that way. I don’t think it was the storyline that made me feel this way about it, but possibly just the way the author writes ?? not sure
