Im actually really glued to this book. I don't know how to explain it but Ransom is a very C.S. Lewis/Tolkien character (the 2 are pretty much the same in my mind. 😆) He reminds me a lot of Bilbo and Frodo from the books.

So I think this is am allegory like narnia, so not knowing the meaning behind most of what happens is a bit confusing. Still, you CAN read it as just-for-fun literature.
I really enjoy Lewis's descriptions of the planet. He gives logical explanations about why it is the way it is. Its oddly comforting because it's a Lewis book. I don't know if I'd continue reading it if it wasn't written in his comforting style

Brandt is so familiar with her. Like, bro, you've only known her for a couple days. This is a problem that so many stories have, especially short stories. It's hard to write realistic relationships when you have a time limit.

Im glad detective Mitchel has become more of a character. At first he was just kind of a mean detective but I thought his character had a lot of potential and it would be kinda cool if they all became friends in the end, almost like a found family sorta thing???

I was not expecting the plot twist. Where in the world are we going with this?

So Mr. Rochester's like "Hey I have a wife in my attic and I tried to marry you anyway, but really its her families fault for making me marry her despite knowing her mother's crazy, and kinda my fault lol. But marry me anyway cause I love you and even though im legally married...am i really though? and if you don't listen to me imma lose my temper and be violent."
And Jane's just like "k, lol."

Jane is a great character but girly Ned's to have some self-respect. Im not impressed with Mr. Rochester action right now lol.😐😑😐
