Not my absolute favorite but definitely had a suspenseful plot line that kept me interested. This book has a good historical twist on a common “spooky beast”, which I found intriguing. Overall I would recommend this to someone who’s more interested in fantasy type horror novels.

Another absolute bone chilling banger by Chizmar. Appalachian folklore is spooky enough but when Chizmar brings it to his attention, it gets even spookier. Can’t wait to see how this one ends!
