that last chapter was a chore,,, why are we spending 3 pages on the boat itself?,,, anyways it does seem to be picking up which is what i’ve been waiting for things just needed to be set up which is understandable but omg we could’ve worked on the pacing just a little don’t you think?

and here’s when it starts getting slow ughhhh

i’m not sure what happened this chapter but it was a chore to get through, maybe it was the length or the bouncing back and forth between subjects that i didn’t really find that interesting but we gotta pick up the pace again soon or i’ll be very disappointed 😭

i’ve never been so captivated by a nonfiction book before! can’t wait to read more ☺️

i have never been more confused on how a book is going to end… julian’s out of the country, charles doesn’t know wtf is going on, henry has the letter cause julian gave it to him for some reason (to protect or out of pity idk), camilla is stunned cause she hasn’t seen charles in a month and here he comes, francis is as quiet as a mouse and richard is being richard i’m so intrigued
