Funny fast read so far with some rather sweet moments showing Lifts kinder side. She’s a fun character.

I do like lift. Didn’t like how the prologue was just the interlude from WoR again tho.

Loved the goodbye with rocky and the whole selective breeding of Taumoaba but a bit sick of the, something goes wrong and he fixes it now.

Oh boy that was stressful spinny spin, poor poor poor rocky, glad he’s up and at them. Not gonna lie not super loving it at the moment, kind of want it to end. Will see what happens next but kinda want it to wrap up at this point

Weird scientists talking weird about sex, what else is new

Wow this book is beautiful, the story telling so far is mesmerising for how repetitive it could be. The birds sending a message that slowly gets pieced together but never told straight up blew me away actually. I had to go back to the section with the deciphered bird message and I laughed at how subtle but wonderfully it was handled!!! Chefs kiss Clarke chefs kiss!

Rocky is a good good good boy

Loved reading him slowly discover what the astrophage was and their life cycle. Ryland is a hilarious and smart af character and loving this so far.

Very fun opening couple of chapters here, literally only read the first 2 but the main character is funny and watching him piece together small things of what he knows but has forgotten has been fun so far.

Rather interesting hunger games/lord of the flies concept. Not truly sold on things yet, I do enjoy the pacing a lot after reading such heavy books prior to this. Titus being a Red had been spoiled for me but still the following chapter was interesting. Loved the scene of the howlers emerging from the horse corpses, fucking grim

After reading way of kings then words of radiance back to back, I’m loving the pace of this book. Short and sweet chapters pushing days of action into like 5 pages and yet somehow still riveting. LOVING THIS

Holy.Shiting.Christ. Those were some of the most engaging chapter I have ever written. Flew by.

Starting to love this again

Kind of fatigued from finishing Way of Kings and think it’s making this drag for now. Excited to see where things go, but don’t have the same urge to pick it up all the time like I did way of kings just yet.

Really really enjoying this now, read all of part three in one sitting

Sheeeeeeesh it’s getting very very goood now

Can’t remember a book that had intimidated me more just on the sheer size of it. But man alive these first 300 pages have breezed past. Characters are so class, the story is intriguing yet approachable. Find myself wanting to pick it up every chance I get. Looking forward ti the rest.
