okay so far the writing style feels very simplistic, but I have the feeling we can get some good horror stuff here.

Only reading this because her next book looks good but it’s apparently a continuation of this one

I have absolutely no interest in K-pop so we’ll see if I like that

Yay I’m finished. This started as 5 stars but in the end it’s a rounded down 4.5, the fantasy stuff and the stakes were a bit much. The romance was cute though, and I liked the vibe.

Still hoping for a queer cozy fantasy that actually is 1000% cozy though.

Honestly, this got a bit too fantasy focused? Nice world building though, and I liked the twist. But now we're in the middle of a stupid 3AB.

Is the mystery element necessary? No. Will I enjoy it and think it’s cool world building wise, even if it takes away from some of the coziness? Yes.

Also, the cat is my favorite.

Magical Target is so stupid and lazy but also fun and fits the vibe well
