Finished the titular story, CivilWarLand in Bad Decline. Probably didn't understand it in its entirety, but it was a fun read and an interesting story. Has a strong opinion on one's relationship with their work and separating it from their personal lives. Also a big fan of Saunders' "in your head" style of writing. Excited to read more.
