It is ironic I'm putting my review of this unbelievably bad read> on GoodReads. You would think that with only 12% left to go I'd suffer through this painful, cringy, book. But, no, enough is enough. I'm DNF'ing it. Bye bye Max, Tisaanah, Nura, ungrateful Threllian slaves, backstabbing fae, and the entire world of Daughter of No Worlds.

Despite a rocky start, the writing voice improved, and the story gripped me enough to continue, and when reaching the epilogue wanting to continue to say how it all plays out. Still, I wasn't too emotionally invested in the overly demanding Ti, and the lovestruck puppy Max. As I said, I am keen to see how the conniving Zyrith will become undone by Ti, Resh, Max, and, indeed, Nura.

I still don’t know if the MC is human, was human, or more like Martha Wells’ MurderBot, or …? It reads like
a journey of self-discovery, who and what am I, which is enough of a hook to continue reading this slow-burn story.

A third in. Tinder date set up, without exchanging pics. Doc Grace is psyching himself up for a blind date. With an extraterrestrial lifeform. A good time to stop reading, and have a strong drink. Except I don't drink booze. Ah well.
