A virus that caused fluid buildup in lungs and drowned them, and it was written three years prior to COVID. Too bad the aliens didn't come as well :P

Cut sleeping time for just one hour (daylight saving) and suddenly you see the number of heart attack and traffic accident increasing in the next day and vice versa.

Circadian rhythm shifted during early adolescents, it made teenagers slept later and woke up later. So it really was not their fault if they were sleepy and groggy at 7 in the morning, it was simply how their body operates. Plus forcing them to wake up early would disturb the majority of their REM sleep, thus damaging their frontal lobe maturity process.

40% of us are morning larks, 30% are night owls and the rest falls somewhere in between. Sadly our society puts unfair burden to night owls, they are under performing when forced to operate in the morning, looking like a lazy and unmotivated person when it was not a fault of theirs, it's just how their body functions.

"I am a wolf"

The ship AI felt more like a teenager with a bad case of chuunibyou. And I disagree that having human/dog stem cells will somehow endow the AI with human/dog emotions. A cell is an organic machine, it will function according to its environment. A finger stem cell from human if implanted in frog will result in frog fingers, not human fingers.

Interesting to see how world war was fought in a near Utopian world. What was the rule of engagement? How to identify friend/foe? How to treat prisoner of war?

The load and save universe is confusing me. If everyone who reload disappeared from 'current' universe, eventually there won't be anyone left in the 'current' universe won't it? And if every time you reload you create a new universe won't eventually you will be the only 'player' in your universe?
