This book was amazing. The ending was a perfect Disney ending! He made it out alive and came home again. One of the best books I've ever read.

I am nearly done with the book right now. It is a very exciting time because he is about to escape from the prison camp. I can feel it. I really hope he can make it out alive.

I am halfway through the book and right now he is in a Japanese prisoner camp. It is odd how quickly the mood of the story changes. It goes from him being excited for the next Olympics, then worried when he is assigned his job in the army, then depressed when he is a POW.

The book is getting sad, scary and it is still very intriguing. His airplane was shot down b the Japanese and he has been captured by them. He is now a prisoner of war.

I have been reading the book Unbroken, and it is amazing. I am at the part after he gets to the Olympics and meets Hitler himself after winning gold for running. It is cool that he is from Torrance and that this is all a true story.

Garrettallen2 is finished with Marine At War
Today I finished Marine at War, and it was a sad, but good ending. He ended up getting back to his family, and he made it out of there alive. I am sad because this is the end of the book, and I didn't want it to end.

After he got to the medical supplies wing, he was swarmed with Zombies. He had only one choice... He had to inject himself with a lethal disease. He took the lethal disease and the cure for it, then ran out the door. He walked past every Zombie there without a problem. He let everyone know, and they are so excited to see him still alive and safe.

This book is getting really intense, as they are at the medical institute and he has figured out that the Zombies only attack those who are healthy, so they decide to try to get some capsules that have viruses in them. It is a suicide mission, but they decide to go anyways.

A lot of this book is very different from the movie. After they were picked up out of the city, they went to an aircraft carrier. There, they were briefed and they were sent on a mission to a lot of places looking for the cause of the breakout. Right now they are in Isreal and they are asking a military woman where to look for it.

I have seen the film of this book already, and for once I feel the movie is better than the book is. The book is pretty intense right now, because they are still in the city. They are staying the night at a strangers house that they met when they were running from the Zombies in the apartment. I remember this is the movie, but they elaborate on it more in the book than they did in the movie.

Marine at War is one of the most accurate military books I've ever read. It was accurate because of how it portrayed how there is a ton more downtime between battles then is usually said.

This book is really cool because it shows the life of an actual Marine, and not some Hollywood star. The character is in war with the Taliban, and is now being holed up in a tiny airport somewhere in the desert.

I can't believe how much this book is like the other young dectective books like I've read a while ago. It does a great job of relating back to other of those books, but at the same time is unique.

This book is really cool, because it's interesting how a kid about the same age as me can become a detective that is better than adult detectives. I also like how it keeps referring to older kid detective books, and using them in the text to help him figure things out.

This book is funny, but interesting and intriguing at the same time. When he figured out that the blackbird thief might actually just be, actually a black bird, I sat there for about two minutes just thinking about how that made so much sense, and how I'm so stupid for not thinking about that.

This book is getting really good. When Percy's father was talking to him, and gave him the sword, it was cool to see how the author portrayed Poseidon. I feel like all the references to Greek mythology make this book so much more mysterious, and cool.

The book is getting really interesting because it makes a lot of references to what I learned last year. It was a shock when I read about Percy's mom get killed by the Minotaur, but really cool when they said they could get her back for the underworld.
