I appreciate the delving into the addiction world, which was a big issue in the Egyptian society in the late eighties and nineties, but so far I feel nothing towards the characters and there is no depth or deep exploration into motivations and feelings

Reading two books simultaneously with unlikable characters and a likely terrible ending
