this is not the kind of book that's meant for relaxation I'm STRESSED 😂

angie sage has this magical (magykal? 😅) way of making this world feel alive because all these side characters have wants/opinions/stories of their own and they'll all become relevant to the heap storyline at some point. even if their role is small, they're all memorable. it's very impressive.

oh this book is going to wreck me, why am I already wanting to cry at 4% I love my kids so much 😭

considering I've already teared up a few times, I fear for myself by the end of this book ✌️😩
