The Silence - I really enjoyed reading the story of Ozawa and Aoki. May life keep me away from the Aokis of this world.

The Last Lawn of the Afternoon - Not sure if reading this short story made any difference in my life. It might be a “me” problem or the story might have been told dull 🤷🏻‍♀️

The Dancing Dwarf - My favorite story until now. Do we let the dwarf take over us for our goals? Do we really win when we win over one current goal?

A Slow Boat to China - No comments but I’d give this a 3/5

TV People - It was a very Murakami story. So what is the deal with these TV people?

A window - I don’t know if it is because I read a bit about Murakami being a misogynist that now I notice everything and I just hadn’t noticed things before but him connecting everything to sex or sexualizing women is a bit annoying me 💔 until that part I actually enjoyed this short story.

Family Affair - I liked the story in general. 3 different characters; the brother, the sister and the fiance. But I am starting to feel a bit uncomfortable with Murakami writing male characters that cheat on their female partners…

The Little Green Monster - Evil Woman! I liked this story 🥺

Barn Burning - not too happy with the story. Maybe it’s me. I don’t know what to make of it

Lederhosen - A woman taking a solo trip and making a decision to make herself happy - yeap I liked the mother

The Fall of the Roman Empire, The 1881 Indian Uprising, Hitler’s invasion of Poland, and the Realm of Raging Winds - A very short story but I liked it. Liked it because the protagonist writes a daily journal and kept it up for 22 years while i never manage to keep it long enough and always give up 🙃

Sleep - I enjoyed reading this piece about a woman who cannot sleep.

On seeing the 100% perfect girl one beautiful April morning - short but cute

The Kangaroo Communiqué - Definitely felt the Murakami vibe in this one. Still cannot say I loved it. Maybe a 6.5/10

The Second Bakery Attack… so far I am not sure I am a fan of these short stories :/
