Finally I get around to read this one! I got it as a birthday present ages ago 😅 so far I quite like the style of it, we’ll see about the plot.

Good Book to read if you want to learn more about crimes on the ocean and lose your faith in humanity.

Finally finished it! I actually quite enjoyed the book, but sometimes the characters seemed a little dense

How fascinating that you can just abandon your entire ships crew without paying them, or for their food or water or fuel or ANYTHING.
How is that legal that you just strand them somewhere and they have to beg for basic food and clean water, bc the company just doesn’t want to pay them??

If I weren't already vegetarian, this chapter definitely would’ve made me stop eating any sort of fish. Apart from, ya know, eating any sort animal, the mistreatment and sexual harassment, the working conditions described on the fishing boat, just makes you not wanna support that industry in any way at all. I feel for all the people who believe it’s their only way to get a job, I hope things have changed a bit by now

It’s really not that interesting sometimes. Good if you need something to fall asleep tho

Cute little romance so far. Gotta say though, walking through Venice when needing a cane sounds like a chore. All the bridges and stairs 😅

Yay, finished at least one of my current reads before the new year :)

I feel like some parts are a bit boring because I know them and I’m also not the biggest fan of the authors style, I’m afraid 😅

Loving the fact that I’m reading more during an excavation, where I work like 60hrs/week, than when I’m home 🙃

listening to this while drawing technically really isn’t optimal, but still very interesting. Feels like I’ll have to read the book once I’m home, though.
