Trap, trap! It’s a trap!

I love this series! This one took a minute to get into but that was mainly because I don’t want this series to end. 🥲

I’ve decided to give this book another chance. It’s definitely more entertaining than I remember.

Things are finally happening! But the payoff seems forced, and there’s still too much introspection.

I’m struggling to finish this one because despite the unique world building, the MC and love interest(s) aren’t all that interesting.

They’re are interesting & important ideas: “hate is a prison,” but the presentation is lacking. Too much introspection from the MC and the pacing feels off.

Some cool ideas in this book, but the MC’s feels stagnant.

This is a pretty interesting YA Sci-fi/fantasy. I’m enjoying it; the world building is fascinating.

It’s 4 solid stars right now, since I’m not really loving all the characters. Ophelia and the Princes are the most interesting, while the MC is alright - mildly boring. Lots of introspection not enough action or growth.

I think I’m going to DNF this. It’s so flat, and I’m bored.
