Three chapters in and I am enjoying. The writing is easy and he has a humor that comes across often enough at perfect times. The story is engaging & learning the history of international travel in the late 1950s is fascinating; especially since as an American, I wasn’t taught about African Affairs at that time

Still reading they Joey Votto Chapter. It's good. Mayo has an easy read style of writing.

Finished Introduction.

So far I have very much enjoyed this book. It's easier to read than The Song of Ice and Fire, and it adds a lot of context to the show House of the Dragon as well.
