It's so sad what happened to this woman and you do get a sense of her strength and how challenging it was being under a conservatorship for 13 years. What was done to her was monstrous and I'm amazed by her ability to recall so much. The book was well written but you can tell a great deal of it was taken out. I would definitely recommend reading, it would help erase the misconceptions you have of this woman.
