I'm sorry to all the haters but Ivan is the best character in these books precisely because his sole function is to gaslight Selin over email sending her spiraling over her mental red string board of figuring out what his deal is. Selin should be gaslit even more for her own good.

It's so hard having Devil's Night as a favourite series because I cannot earnestly tell anyone else that they should read it. Like yeah every interaction in the first book is pretty straight forward sexual harassment. Yes these men were convicted of crimes they objectively did commit, and they should have been convicted of even more. Yes these people are my blorbos. Don't look at me.
