Polus is boring me. I miss the pages where Socrates and Gorgias the ‘pros’ were talking. Right now I’m just listening to Socrates shit on this ignorant kid. The topic of conversation at this point (the goodness of power) is interesting but it’s hard to get a full grasp of it when the topic is too often switched to Polus’ foolishness. Bring Gorgias back!

Finally getting back to the discussion of rhetoric. Polus let Socrates speak and he gave a good proof of why a criminal without punishment is less happy and less good and less just than the one receiving the punishment. Great stuff.
