Okay so NOW she’s nineteen and also somehow still in high school (she’s gifted so this doesn’t make sense???). Her foster mom was killed by a Titan after beating her half to death (all while she’s composing a literal symphony in her head…. She’s still ten guys btw) and she lied to law enforcement that her foster dad killed her foster mom to get him arrested. Her and her brother have now been living (1/2)

Main character is ten at the beginning. Her foster parents are abusive so she ran away from home and befriended an invisible but also neon purple snake named Nyx and they frolicked in the meadow together. All of this while she quite literally has two broken wrists from being abused. I actually can not make this up
