This is *fucking* brilliant. The writing is the most modern and more crisp I've read in a old Who book in ages. It feels straight like it's been lifted from modern Who, in feel, in dialouge, in even ostensibly filler background characters. It's dark, emotional, adult, intense, thrilling, passionate - christ, where's this been all my life?
