I was a little resistant to this book at first, but the more I read it, the more it aligns. I focus a lot on healing past trauma, which I’ve noticed causes me to become frustrated because I want to be more “healed” than I am, or I spend time wishing the traumas never occurred. Maybe I need to start focusing on the present moment more instead of identifying with my past so intensely.
