Her Roman had just gotten together and now they’ve been ripped apart by her own brother. He didn’t have the decency to write her a single letter but nows here to drag her away from her life and happiness. Please. I can’t with this man and am waiting for him to die

Why’s everything so tragic in this book broo. First iris’s mom and now Roman’s sister. Like I can’t. And the fact that he would rather live with his pain and grief than forget his sister is tooo much. I was already crying I didn’t need anything else 😭😭

All of these parallels between iris and Roman’s families r interesting. Both their grandparents wrote notes and hid their writing around for their offspring to find. Also the way that both their mothers are absent and sick. Maybe this goes into smth deeper cause my current theory is that they r def connected to the whole dacre/enva story (maybe their reincarnations or smth) but there’s def some connections there
