This is a difficult read. I almost lost it when they talked about the St. Anne’s residential school that had its own electric chair just to watch native children suffer.

I thought that I would breeze through this but I’ve been taking lots of notes. Trying to process the information from this book as opposed to just rushing through it. I tend to rush through fiction but with history/informative books I am learning that I take my time (and that’s okay!).
