Why is it that all the emotional scenes happen when jade isn’t around and it’s supposed to be her story too but she doesn’t feel like part of the relationship the author isn’t that good at writing this type of dynamic

A book with bdsm as a feature you’d think that there’d be better communication between them but no it’s just vanilla sex with a kink costume I think that Eden and jade scenes together they view each other as attractive but in a way that feels like how you’d view a flower as being beautiful the scenes honestly just feel awkward to read

Reached the sex scene & I honestly don’t think this author knows how to write domme women or switches clays coming off at the dom in the relationship not jade and Eden is going through her own drama but my first thought is therapy she needs it and currently she’s using bdsm as a substitute and that’s not a good practice

I love this book it’s like a breath of fresh air after reading the last book which I didn’t really like but I love this one it weirdly feels like a warm hug with really sexy scenes added in
