I don’t understand how she can spend a whole chapter giving examples for one thing only to finish that same chapter with the conclusion of “an audacious story of political spin.” I’m so sick of this book

I hate this book with burning passion

A few days ago I was going to comment that there are Wikipedia pages written with more depth and style, but decided against it. Imagine my disgust when I found out that she is quoting Wikipedia in the chapter 13. (ref. 8)

I can understand that the author isn’t the family’s (Medici) biggest fun, but her beef with and snarky comments about the city of Florence are ridiculous
