Ok I'm all in here, I'm eating this up. but I'm sorry, the entire middle third of chapter 12 was ... Unnecessary? Weirdly gratuitous? Distracting for sure. It could have all taken place in just some other made up world, but instead... Here we are. I'm just shaking my head. Still reading! But really hope there's no more nonsense like that ahead. I'm up waaaay past my bedtime.
