From cozy to gothic!! Friends, this chapter ("The Toad") was a wild road, and yes, I did that on purpose. One minute they are staging an intervention and forcing Toad to detox (he goes through a whole delirium tremens thing), then Toad goes back to his old ways and ends up being thrown into a terrifying dungeon with thumbscrews. Remember, in the last chapter the biggest problem was finding the tinned sardines.

I watched The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr Toad and it did make me wonder about the wind in the willows as a whole hahaha. Does he drive a motorcar in the book

listen,,,you cannot STOP mr toad from driving motor cars. ALL the motor cars. ANY motor cars. he has a genuine problem and i love it.
