It’s kind of disorienting to read a “dark academia”book where the cult is around a more contemporary figure (Sylvia Plath) and not like… the typical Shakespeare or Ancient Greeks.

Listen, the writing is good and it’s very atmospheric which is fun to read at night for spooky vibes, but I fear as a mystery/thriller it has been Extremely predictable and I have yet to feel truly shocked by any of the reveals so far.
