just completed part 1/3 and am enjoying a lot so far. i feel like im starting to pick up on murakami’s style and thematic preferences. lots of secrecy, psychic encounters, magical realism, familial and romantic complications, embedded storytelling, eccentric secondary characters. still 432pp to go🖖💌🌠
